Le Seraphim, the 4th generation K-Pop girl group, has set a new pre-order record with their first full-length album 'Unforgiven', surpassing 1.38 million pre-orders. The album distributor YG PLUS reported on the 29th that the group's pre-order numbers had reached an all-time high for K-Pop girl groups.
'Unforgiven' marks a significant increase in pre-order numbers for the group, exceeding twice the total pre-orders for their previous mini-album 'ANTIFRAGILE', which recorded a total pre-order of 620,000 copies. The pre-order amount of 1.03 million copies for the first regular album was achieved within a week of pre-orders, setting the stage for the group to achieve their second consecutive million-seller following 'ANTIFRAGILE'.
Blackpink's 2nd regular album 'Bon Pink' previously held the title for the highest pre-order record for a K-Pop girl group with 2 million copies sold, followed by TWICE's 12th mini album 'Ready to Be' with 1.7 million copies, and Espa's 2nd mini album 'Girls' with 1.61 million copies.
Le Seraphim's agency, Source Music, stated, "Looking at the trend of pre-order volume, Le Seraphim's second million-seller is expected to be achieved much earlier than the previous work, and attention is also focused on the Initial Chodong record (sales in one week from the release date)."
Le Seraphim's 'Unforgiven' will be available for purchase on May 2nd, following the release of the album's sound source and music video on May 1st. The album reflects the group's determination to carve out their own path, without concern for the evaluation of others.
