XG, a seven-member girl group from Japan, is expanding its inaugural world tour to include the United States and Europe. The group will begin its US leg with a concert in Las Vegas on October 4, followed by performances in seven additional American cities. Following these dates, XG will travel to Europe, starting with a show in Manchester, England, on November 18, and continuing with concerts in five more European cities.
The group, managed by the Japanese label XGALX, began their world tour with performances at Osaka-Jo Hall in Osaka, Japan, on May 18 and 19. Despite being an all-Japanese group, XG trained in South Korea for approximately five years under the K-pop training system and identifies as a global K-pop act.
XG has achieved significant global popularity. Their song “Left Right,” from the single album “Shooting Star,” released in January 2023, ranked on the US MediaBase’s Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart for 13 weeks, a first for an Asian girl group. Their latest single, “Woke Up,” released on May 21, reached No. 15 on Spotify’s Viral 50 chart, and its music video was the No. 1 trending video in the United States on YouTube.
