The Gioco space operates under the framework of the Triennale Manifesto for families, which was introduced in 2025 as part of the museum's strategic planning initiative. Located within the newly renovated Piano Parco in Milan, the facility welcomes children and their caregivers throughout operating hours. The versatile environment functions both as a structured educational setting for organized workshops led by the Triennale Education Department and as an open-use area where families can engage in informal playtime between scheduled activities.
Architect Luca Cipelletti's design philosophy for the Gioco installation emphasizes adaptability and material authenticity, creating an environment that responds to children's natural curiosity and creativity.
