Jennie, a member of the K-pop group Blackpink, introduced her latest single, "Slow Motion," on Friday. The collaboration features Matt Champion, the vocalist of the American boy band Brockhampton.
Matt Champion announced the release by sharing a promotional poster on social media, tagging Jennie. Both artists had previously teased the single by revealing snippets on their official social media channels.
RCA Records describes the single as a drum and bass track that promises a fresh and unique sound, showcasing a different facet of Champion's musical talent. This release signifies Jennie's first solo project since her departure from YG Entertainment. In December, she established her own agency, Odd Atelier.
Currently, Jennie is a fixed member of the tvN variety show "Apartment 404," a role she has held since February 15. She made her solo debut in November 2018 with the release of the single album "Solo," which has garnered over 1 billion views on YouTube.
