Spotify data for the past year indicates that Blackpink emerged as the most-played K-pop female artists, amassing the highest number of streams among their peers. Korean female singers collectively garnered over 24 billion streams, reflecting a sixfold increase compared to five years ago. Notably, Blackpink led the charts, followed by NewJeans, Twice, Le Sserafim, and Fifty Fifty.
Jisoo's solo track "Flower" secured the fifth position among the most-streamed songs. Achieving a notable record, the solo debut garnered 300 million streams in less than 200 days, marking a milestone for solo female singers. Lisa, a member of Blackpink, earned recognition from the Guinness World Records for reaching the 1 billion milestone in September with her song "Money," a noteworthy achievement for both a K-pop female act and a soloist.
In a separate acknowledgment by the Guinness World Records, Blackpink was recognized for accumulating the most streams on Spotify as of March 2023, surpassing 8.88 billion streams.
