On Friday, YG Entertainment reported that Babymonster's debut single, "Batter Up," has surged past 100 million views on YouTube, establishing a new record for a debut song by a K-pop group. Remarkably, this milestone was reached in approximately 18 days, with the music video accumulating over 22.59 million hits within its first 24 hours—an unprecedented feat for a K-pop debut.

Moreover, "Batter Up" has asserted its dominance on YouTube's global daily and weekly music video charts, maintaining the top position for five consecutive days. The accompanying performance video, unveiled earlier this week, also claimed the title of the most-viewed YouTube video in a 24-hour period, amassing over 20 million views to date.

Simultaneously, the single has surpassed 10 million streams on Spotify within the span of 10 days, securing a notable record for a debut single from a K-pop girl group. Babymonster's rapid ascent in both YouTube views and Spotify streams underscores the group's burgeoning success in the global music landscape.
