Bang Yedam, the former member of Treasure, is set to make his mark as a solo musician with the upcoming release of his first solo album. GF Entertainment, his current agency, confirmed the highly-anticipated news on Monday, revealing that his debut album is scheduled to drop on November 23. Fans won't have to wait long for a taste of his new music, as a pre-release from the EP is slated for November 10.
Bang Yedam first garnered widespread attention in 2013 when he participated in a prominent audition show, where he was hailed as a child prodigy. Following five years of dedicated training under the prestigious SM Entertainment, he officially debuted as a member of the popular group Treasure in 2020.

However, in November of the previous year, he made the surprising decision to part ways with the group and the label. After taking a six-month hiatus, he embarked on a new journey by signing with his current agency in August.
Despite his remarkable talent and past achievements, the transition to a solo artist role has not been without its challenges. "The phrase 'solo artist Bang Yedam' still feels awkward, and the pressure to fill up the stage on my own is high," admitted the artist. Nevertheless, he expressed his excitement about presenting his own unique performances to the world, as he takes a bold step into his solo career.
