D.O. of EXO to Depart from SM Entertainment After Contract Expiry

D.O., a prominent member of the K-pop group EXO, is set to leave SM Entertainment when his exclusive contract with the agency concludes next month.

SM Entertainment confirmed the contract's impending expiration and announced that after extensive discussions, D.O. has chosen to remain a part of EXO even after departing from the agency.

D.O. is planning to establish his own agency, in collaboration with his manager from SM Entertainment, and will pursue his career as both an actor and a singer.

His career began in 2012 as the main vocalist of EXO, and he ventured into acting in 2014, making his debut in the SBS drama "It's Okay, That's Love."
