K-pop Group NewJeans Achieves 100 Million Views on YouTube for "Super Shy" Music Video

K-pop agency Ador announced on Friday that NewJeans, the quintet, achieved a significant milestone as their music video for "Super Shy" crossed 100 million views on YouTube. This marks their third video to reach this milestone, following "Hype Boy" and "OMG." "Super Shy" is one of the main tracks from their second EP titled "Get Up." The single garnered success on various charts, including Billboard’s Hot 100 where it stayed for eight consecutive weeks, peaking at No. 48. Additionally, it secured the No. 52 position on the UK’s Official Singles Chart Top 100.

Furthermore, NewJeans received nominations for the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards in the categories of "Best Group" and "Best K-Pop." In a separate recognition, the group was named among the "Next Generation Leaders" by Time magazine in the US, along with Stray Kids, as announced on Thursday.
