Iconic K-pop duo TVXQ is gearing up for a momentous celebration, marking their 20th anniversary with a series of events encompassing a full-length album, a concert, and an exhibition. Themed as "20&2," this anniversary signifies two decades since their debut and the enduring presence of the group's remaining members, U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin.

In a press release on Thursday, SM Entertainment expressed that "20&2" would serve as a time to reflect on the significant milestones and memories TVXQ has created over the years. It also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the two stalwart members, U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin.

The festivities commence with the release of TVXQ's ninth full-length album on December 26, aligning with the day the boy band made their debut in 2003. This upcoming album will stand as the band's first Korean release in nearly five years.

Following the album's launch, TVXQ will host a concert and an exhibition, offering a retrospective journey through the band's remarkable history. The exhibition will showcase TVXQ's television appearances, providing fans a chance to relive pivotal moments. Further details regarding these events are yet to be disclosed.

TVXQ initially debuted as a five-member boy band in 2003 with their first single, "Hug," under SM Entertainment. Over time, three members, Kim Jae-joong, Park Yu-chun, and Xia, parted ways with SM Entertainment in 2009, citing unfair clauses in their exclusive contracts with the agency. Despite the changes, TVXQ's enduring legacy has continued, with U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin carrying the torch forward, marking this significant 20-year milestone in their illustrious career.
