Devsisters Corp. (CEO: Cho Gil-hyeon) has announced that its flagship IP, Cookie Run, will be part of the upcoming Jeonju Festa 2024, from October 3 to October 26, as part of its Cookie Run Local Adventure campaign. This marks the second leg of the campaign, following its successful launch in Jeju in August.

During Jeonju Festa 2024, Cookie Run will feature prominently in the Sweet Store, a dessert fair held at Jeonju Sports Complex over four weekends (October 3-6, October 11-13, October 18-20, and October 25-26). Visitors will be able to sample and purchase a variety of local desserts while enjoying Cookie Run-themed activities.

A photo zone featuring a 6-meter-tall Brave Cookie, dressed in traditional Korean hanbok, will be set up, along with life-sized cutouts of other Cookie Run characters in hanbok. Visitors who purchase from the Sweet Store will have the chance to participate in a prize giveaway, and a meet-and-greet with a costumed Cookie Run character will be held during the event.

From October 3 to 13, a giant 7-meter-tall Brave Cookie air balloon will also be displayed at Pungnammun Square in Jeonju Hanok Village. Visitors who take photos with the balloon and share them on social media will receive limited-edition Cookie Run stickers exclusive to Jeonju.

The highlight of the event will be the drone show at the Jeonju Festa opening ceremony, where the Brave Cookie will be shown enjoying traditional Korean sweets like yakgwa and hangwa.

Devsisters commented, “As Cookie Run features several characters with a distinctly Korean flavor, it was a natural fit to collaborate with Jeonju, a city renowned for its traditional culture. We invite everyone to visit and enjoy the various Cookie Run activities at Jeonju Festa throughout October.”

Cookie Run Local Adventure is an initiative by Devsisters to partner with local governments across Korea, bringing the beloved Cookie Run characters to fans in different regions. The campaign aims to contribute to local economies by creating unique content that celebrates the identity of each region. After launching in Jeju in August, the campaign continues its journey across various regions, including Jeonju.
