Supervillain Labs (co-CEOs: Go Jeonghwan, Lee Seongjun) announced the start of pre-registration for their upcoming idle action RPG, 슈빌: Supervillain Wanted (or 슈빌). Set for release in the first half of this year, the game allows players to step into the shoes of a recruit in a villain-filled company, where they quickly rise through the ranks, hire various villains as teammates, and engage in strategic battles.
In 슈빌, players can enjoy tactical combat by assembling a team of unique and charming characters, each with their own personality. The game features SD (Super Deformed) characters that bring fast-paced action to life, with an emphasis on speed and excitement. The simple and intuitive controls make the game accessible to players of all ages, providing an enjoyable experience for both casual gamers and those looking for deeper progression and character growth.
Pre-registration for 슈빌 is now open on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. As a reward for participating in the pre-registration, players will receive a variety of bonuses, including the "School Uniform Concept" costume 학교가야되네슈빌, which is themed around the spring semester; diamonds for summoning villain teammates; cooking ingredients; villain shards; and gold. These rewards will be granted to all participants before the official release.
The game is being developed by Supervillain Labs, a game studio founded by former developers from top Korean gaming companies such as Nexon. The studio is also working on a PC MMORPG, continuing to build its portfolio in the gaming industry. Last May, Supervillain Labs successfully raised $4.5 million in seed funding, led by Aptos Labs and Neowiz affiliate Intella X, a testament to the studio’s promising technical capabilities.
To test the game’s appeal and stability, 슈빌 underwent a soft launch in Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand and Vietnam last July. This phase was aimed at refining the gameplay and ensuring a smooth global release. In preparation for global service, Supervillain Labs has also signed a business agreement with Good Touch, a subsidiary of Line Games, to ensure a seamless experience for players worldwide.
