SEOUL — Jin of BTS will release a remix album of his second solo single “Don’t Say You Love Me” on Monday, May 20 at 1 p.m. KST, according to his label BigHit Music.
The new release features eight tracks, including the original song and its instrumental version, as well as six remixes spanning different genres such as band, lo-fi, disco, synthwave, ’90s pop, and future pop.
The band version adds rich live instrumentation to the original’s laid-back feel, enhancing the sense of intimacy as if Jin were performing live. The lo-fi remix highlights a gentle acoustic guitar arrangement, amplifying the song’s bittersweet emotional tone.
The disco remix brings in bright, funky rhythms with synth-driven hooks, while the synthwave version mixes retro vibes with upbeat drum and bass lines.
Other tracks include a ’90s pop remix, blending nostalgic electronic sounds with an uplifting melody, and a future pop version, which opens with soft guitar arpeggios before building into a powerful string-laden climax.
“Don’t Say You Love Me” explores the emotional complexity of love as both comfort and pain.
Jin is also scheduled to appear on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 22, where he will perform the track live for the first time on U.S. television.
