Jungkook, a member of global sensation BTS, has achieved another milestone with his solo single “Seven (feat. Latto) - Explicit Ver.”, earning platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). This marks the third time Jungkook has received platinum status in Japan for streaming, following the success of the “Clean” version of the song and “Euphoria”, a track from BTS’s 2018 compilation album “Love Yourself: Answer”.
Jungkook's solo achievements continue to break records. His songs “Seven” and “Standing Next to You” have now reached a combined 900 million streams on Spotify, making his debut solo album “Golden” the first album by an Asian singer to feature more than one song surpassing this milestone.
“Golden” also made an impressive debut on the Billboard 200, landing at No. 2 and staying on the chart for a remarkable 24 consecutive weeks, setting a record for an Asian soloist. In addition, “Seven” topped the Billboard Hot 100 and remained on the chart for 15 weeks. The track continues to shatter records on Spotify, amassing 1.1 billion streams to date.
