Dover Street Market Paris is hosting a special exhibition during Paris Photo that celebrates the latest issue of Another Man magazine, featuring an exclusive Tatras fashion story photographed by renowned Dutch photographer Paul Kooiker. The exhibition, which runs from November 15-19, 2025, will showcase Kooiker's provocative work alongside original photography by JH Engström, Thomas Mailaender, and Chardchakaj Waikawee, all featured in Another Man Volume II Issue IV.
Paul Kooiker, widely recognized for his provocative and surreal exploration of the human body, identity, and voyeurism, has captured the rebellious spirit of Washington DC's punk scene in his portrait series featuring author, musician, and filmmaker Ian Svenonius wearing Tatras garments. The striking images showcase Tatras' AW25 collection, including jackets in padded nylon and wool, trousers in polyester, acrylic, and cotton, and hoods in nylon, all styled by Ai Kamoshita.
The exhibition represents a comprehensive exploration of contemporary masculinity through the lens of the magazine's creative team. Another Man Volume II Issue IV features an impressive array of contributors, including convention-defying filmmaker Jim Jarmusch, who speaks with Hannah Lack about his creative roots in 1980s New York, his decades-long friendship with Tom Waits, and his latest film "Father Mother Sister Brother." The issue also includes Mexican artist Ana Segovia discussing his newest series "Ramón," which offers an unapologetic glimpse into the dark eroticism underlying cowboy culture.
For this special issue, photographer Chardchakaj Waikawee roamed the historic streets of Bangkok alongside stylist Ai Kamoshita, capturing unique faces and street scenes that reflect the city's distinctive character. French multimedia artist Thomas Mailaender contributed a humorous and rich investigation into contemporary masculinity, curating a fascinating array of characters, set pieces, and cinematic scenarios that challenge traditional notions of male identity.
The magazine also pays tribute to legendary Italian director, writer, and artist Pier Paolo Pasolini, marking 50 years since his passing. This retrospective section, guest-edited by Conor Donlon, features tributes from notable figures including author Olivia Laing, actor Willem Dafoe, poet Eileen Myles, and the band These New Puritans. Photographer JH Engström, renowned for his emotionally charged and deeply personal visual narratives, retraces Pasolini's steps through Ostia, the small coastal town near Rome where the filmmaker was killed.
The free public exhibition at Dover Street Market Paris will be open daily during Paris Photo week, operating from 11am to 7pm Saturday through Wednesday, and 12pm to 7pm on Sunday. Visitors will have the opportunity to view Paul Kooiker's complete Tatras story featuring Ian Svenonius, alongside the other compelling photographic works featured in the Winter/Spring 2026 issue of Another Man magazine.
