A2O SOUL, the 15-member boy group produced by Lee Soo-man, will release its first album, “SUPERSTAR,” on Nov. 9 at 6 p.m.
The album arrives about four weeks after the group made its debut on Oct. 13 with the advance single of the same name.
“SUPERSTAR” will contain five tracks, including the previously released title track and a second title song, “Dancing in the Dark.” The group describes the album’s synthesiser-led musical direction as “NEW SYNTHWAVE.”
Lee oversaw the album’s overall musical direction. The advance single “SUPERSTAR” features contributions from producer Yoo Young-jin, HAAN, who participated in The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s “STAY,” and GENT!, whose credits include music by Drake and Doja Cat.
The advance single entered China’s QQ Music new-song chart at No. 3 and its popular-song chart at No. 6. It also reached No. 4 on the platform’s global music-video chart and No. 18 on YouTube’s trending music rankings.
“SUPERSTAR” will be released in two photobook editions and one platform-album edition. Pre-orders are available through online and offline record retailers.
