The interior design world is buzzing with exciting new launches this December, featuring everything from festive collaborations to luxury furniture collections. Senior homes and interiors editor Georgina Blaskey has curated the month's most noteworthy releases, showcasing innovative designs that blend functionality with artistic expression.
USM and Buchanan Studio have reunited for a joyful "Kiss-Mas" collaboration, marking the opening of USM's new modular furniture store in Marylebone. Building on their successful TESSELLATE collection launched in May, this partnership introduces new collectible designs spanning trays, planters, and multi-use pots. The hero Tray arrives in two distinctive silhouettes: Square and Kiss, with the latter paying homage to the signature motif from TESSELLATE's Kiss Side Table. Available in four color combinations, the collection highlights the special-edition BS Pink that has become synonymous with Buchanan Studio's aesthetic.
Neptune's new Borough collection is revolutionizing kitchen design with a fresh, modern approach to classic styling. Drawing from over 30 years of design expertise, each freestanding piece – from cook's islands to sink cabinets and pantries – can function independently or as part of a complete set. Raised on tapered legs, the collection nods to mid-century Scandinavian style while maintaining distinctly British sensibility. The clean architectural lines meet gently rounded corners, creating a timeless yet contemporary feel that suits both open-plan layouts and fitted kitchens. The collection becomes available online January 2nd, 2026, with pieces arriving in Neptune stores shortly after.
Nordic Knots has unveiled its first high-craft collection with handwoven Mohair rugs that represent a significant evolution for the brand. These luxurious pieces are crafted from exceptionally soft mohair fibers designed to harness the material's natural luster, creating a gentle sheen and depth that shifts beautifully with changing light. Available in sophisticated mineral tones of rust, slate blue, and taupe, each rug feels serene, tactile, and quietly luxurious, reflecting Nordic Knots' continued commitment to elevating classic Scandinavian principles.
For the holiday season, natural fragrance house VERDEN has partnered with ceramicist Deborah Brett to create the limited-edition Festivum candle. Hand-poured into a porcelain vessel featuring Brett's signature flowing lines and fluted edges, finished in a new white vellum glaze, this sculptural piece combines artistry with Nordic-inspired scent. The Festivum fragrance draws inspiration from the Danish celebration of Jul, capturing winter gathering warmth through notes of cedarwood and pine meeting cinnamon, clove, and ginger lily, with subtle layers of nutmeg and black pepper adding complexity.
PINCH has introduced an elegant evolution of its Landry coffee table, now available in a striking white gold finish. The design pairs a solid timber frame with a gilded glass top that subtly shifts in tone throughout the day. Each table is handcrafted by specialist glass gilders using low-iron toughened glass back-gilded with fine white gold leaf and sealed with protective glaze, while the FSC-certified timber base adds warmth and weight. Available in circular or elliptical silhouettes and oak or walnut options, the Landry also comes in bronze mirror, moss glass, and full-timber versions.
Ruggable has collaborated with London fashion brand RIXO to launch a collection of washable rugs that translate the label's signature vintage-inspired prints into home décor. Shot in co-founder Orlagh McCloskey's London house, the collaboration reimagines RIXO's bold patterns and bohemian British charm through Ruggable's practical, machine-washable construction. The collection features four distinctive designs: Kings Road's vibrant Mediterranean-inspired florals, Portobello Road's playful pink-and-black geometric patterns, Lions Cub's eclectic mix of butterflies and animals, and Kensington's leopard print paired with classic floral borders.
British accessories brand London Velvet is expanding into interiors with its debut homeware design: the Tidy Tray. Known for bold color combinations and playful craftsmanship, the brand brings the same vibrant sensibility to this chic, functional organizational piece. Available in large or small sizes and two striking colorways – light blue with orange or burgundy with chocolate – each palette showcases London Velvet's signature approach to contrasting tones. The trays feature soft leather exteriors, warm suede interiors, and folded corners with looped detailing for a luxurious tactile finish.
Curate Space, a new wallpaper brand founded by friends Luke Harvey and Catherine Miller, brings over 20 years of combined fashion print experience to an artist-led approach. Each design begins with Catherine's original hand-drawn or hand-painted sketches, developed in their East London studio into expressive, timeless prints. The brand launches with three collections: The Curiosity Series, The Portraits Series, and The Studio Series. Clients can request bespoke colorways and scale options, with every roll printed to order using responsibly sourced materials and water-based inks.
Interior design icon Veere Grenney has launched "A Life in Design," a comprehensive online masterclass via Create Academy. The six-hour course spans 40 lessons sharing Grenney's philosophies, processes, and personal insights on composing spaces that feel both timeless and deeply personal. Students can expect lessons on balancing form, texture, and function, complete with a workbook and virtual visits to homes including his Tangier residence and a Palladian folly.
Additional notable launches include Sophie Paterson's collaboration with linen brand Gilly Nicolson on four collections featuring hand-drawn motifs embroidered onto luxury bed linens, towels, and robes. Romeo & Jules has released a festive Christmas wrapping paper collection with patterns like Tartan Chic and Marbled designs. Meanwhile, handcrafted tile specialist Bert & May has opened The Mix, a new concept store in a canal-side warehouse on Vyner Street, Bethnal Green, featuring immersive room sets created with prestigious brands and hosting regular events with local creators.
