NUDE DESIGN has completed the Weekender Shop Andel, a women's clothing store located in Tokyo's Kuramae district that showcases a bright and minimalist interior design approach. The project represents the brand's second retail location and introduces a comprehensive interior strategy that emphasizes brightness, visual clarity, and spatial transparency throughout the shopping environment.

The design team employed a carefully curated material palette featuring white-stained wood surfaces, soft mortar textures, and stainless-steel accent elements to create a restrained yet sophisticated aesthetic. Natural light flows into the space through strategically positioned L-shaped windows, creating an evenly illuminated environment that effectively highlights both the store's spatial configuration and its product display systems.

NUDE DESIGN's approach focuses on establishing a subdued backdrop that allows the apparel's colors, textures, and silhouettes to serve as the primary visual elements within the retail space. The soft mortar textures add subtle depth and tactile interest to the interior surfaces while maintaining the overall minimal design philosophy that defines the project.

The interior composition aims to create a calm and open retail environment where materials and natural lighting work in harmony to support the presentation of the clothing collection. The design maintains a cohesive atmosphere that balances functionality with aesthetic appeal, featuring uncluttered circulation paths that guide customers through the space naturally.

The store's exterior design includes a large entrance opening that ensures clear visibility from the street, creating a strong connection between the interior and exterior spaces. This transparency allows passersby to easily view the store's bright interior and merchandise displays, enhancing the retail experience and street-level engagement. Photography by Takuya Yamauchi captures the successful integration of these design elements in the completed Tokyo retail space.
