Gallagher, promoting the concert through an image on his Instagram account, conveyed a message in Korean, stating, "You are all living young and invincible, right? See you in the summer." This visit follows his recent performance in Korea just eight months prior, at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in southern Seoul in November of the previous year.
Known for his role in Oasis, Gallagher contributed as a songwriter and composer for many of the band's hits, including "Wonderwall" and "Champagne Supernova." Following his departure from Oasis in 2009 amidst ongoing conflicts with his brother Liam, he formed a new band, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, in 2010.
