Wheein, a member of the K-pop group Mamamoo, has revealed plans for the European and American legs of her inaugural solo tour, "The Mood [Beyond]," through The Live agency on Wednesday.
Commencing later this month, the tour marks the tenth anniversary of Wheein's debut and will initially cover various Asian cities, including Hong Kong, Bangkok, Manila, Taipei, and Tokyo. The Asian leg is set to resume in Warsaw, Poland, on May 9, with the final concert scheduled to take place in Brooklyn, US, on June 4.
Wheein commenced the tour with a two-day concert in Seoul on Feb. 24-25, featuring bandmate Hwasa as a special guest. In mid-February, the artist released the digital single "Wheee," produced by Young K of DAY6.
As the first member of Mamamoo to embark on a solo venture, Wheein dropped her debut solo full-length album, "IN the mood," in October of the previous year. The album achieved significant success, securing the top position on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 13 regions.
