As of the chart dated March 9, BTS's third studio album, "Love Yourself 轉 Tear," has made a noteworthy return to the Billboard 200 after approximately 5 1/2 years. The album, a historic chart-topper in the K-pop genre, now holds the No. 92 position on the main albums chart, marking its 16th week on the prestigious list.
The resurgence of "Love Yourself 轉 Tear" on the Billboard 200 can be attributed to the gradual release of its vinyl version, initiated in January and reaching the United States late last month. The vinyl edition not only propelled the album back onto the chart but also secured the top spot on the Billboard Vinyl Albums chart.
The main track from the album, titled "Fake Love," has also demonstrated its enduring popularity by claiming the No. 1 position on the world digital single sales chart.
Simultaneously, BTS member Jungkook's solo album, "Golden," maintains a steady presence on the Billboard 200, securing the No. 85 spot. The lead single from the album, "Standing Next to You," holds the No. 87 position on the Hot 100 chart. Both "Golden" and its lead single have achieved an impressive 17 consecutive weeks on their respective Billboard charts.
