On June 17, the K-pop band Riize will unveil its first extended play, “Riizing,” at a premiere showcase in Seoul, according to an announcement by their label, SM Entertainment, on Wednesday.
Riize, a six-member group, will perform “Boom Boom Bass,” the lead single from their eight-track album, for the first time during the event. The showcase will also be broadcast live. “Boom Boom Bass” is a pop dance song that prominently features bass guitar, continuing the theme of musical instruments from their debut single “Get a Guitar” and their second digital single “Talk Saxy.” The latter track will also be included in the new album.
In addition to the album release, Riize is currently on a fan concert tour, engaging with fans globally. The tour will conclude in Seoul in September, coinciding with the one-year anniversary of their debut. Next month, the band plans to release a digital single titled “Lucky” in Japan, and they will tour nine cities across the country before celebrating their debut anniversary in September.
