Starship Entertainment, the official agency for both Sistar and Sistar19, has pledged its full support to the project, as stated by Klap Entertainment. The subunit's last EP, "Gone Not Around Any Longer," was released on January 31, 2013.

According to a news release from Klap Entertainment, the duo's members, Hyolyn and Bora, are diligently working on enhancing their vocals and choreography to elevate the unit's identity.

Sistar19 made its debut with the single "Ma Boy" in May 2011, following the success of its EP, "Gone Not Around Any Longer." Sistar, formed under Starship Entertainment in 2010, gained prominence for their summer-themed tracks like "Touch My Body" (2014) and "Shake It" (2015). The group disbanded in 2017 after the expiration of their exclusive contract with the agency.

Post-disbandment, members pursued individual careers. Hyolyn, for instance, released several solo tracks, including her latest work, "This Love," featuring Korean Canadian rapper Paul Blanco, released on July 12. Bora transitioned to acting, participating in various TV shows, including SBS' drama "Dr. Romantic."
