MYSTIC STORY
In an eagerly awaited announcement, the girl group Billlie is gearing up to release a brand-new album next month, featuring a lineup comprising five members: Haram, Haruna, Sheon, Siyoon, and Tsuki. The revelation was made by the group's agency, Mystic Story, on Tuesday.
This upcoming album launch follows a seven-month hiatus since their fourth EP, "the Billage of perception: chapter three," was unveiled in March, featuring the captivating lead track "Eunoia." While the agency celebrated the album's immense success, selling a remarkable number of copies within its debut week and achieving eight times the sales of their debut album, the exact figures remain undisclosed.
Billlie has also marked an exciting milestone on the international stage, making their Japanese debut in May with "GingaMingaYo (the strange world) - Japanese ver. -." Additionally, the group had the honor of participating in the Kansai Collection 2023 Autumn & Winter fashion show held in Osaka.
However, Billlie's journey has not been without its challenges. Two of its members, Moon Sua and Suhyeon, have decided to take a hiatus due to health concerns. Moon Sua announced her temporary break just last week, while Suhyeon made a similar announcement back in June.
Billlie initially debuted in Korea in October 2021 as a six-member girl group, featuring Moon Sua, Suhyeon, Haram, Tsuki, Siyoon, and Haruna. Later, Sheon joined the group a month after their debut, adding to the dynamic talent that has become synonymous with Billlie.
