According to a statement from J-Hope's agency, BigHit Music, "Hope on the Street" is an extension of the dance practice record series introduced by J-Hope in 2015, sharing the same title. The press release further clarified that the project was conceptualized by J-Hope himself and was in preparation before the commencement of his military service.
J-Hope, born on February 18, 1994, commenced his military service on April 18, 2023, and is anticipated to complete his service on October 17 of this year.
