In a teaser clip released on BTS' official YouTube channel, J-Hope, the main dancer of the globally acclaimed group, offered a glimpse into his upcoming project titled "Hope on the Street." The video, dropped a day before his birthday in March, opens with scenes of J-Hope perfecting his dance moves in a studio back in 2015. Fast-forwarding to 2024, the clip features J-Hope dancing to a rhythmic beat against the backdrop of a city's night view.

Big Hit Music, the management company for BTS, disclosed that J-Hope conceived the project on his own initiative, working on it before embarking on his mandatory military service. While specific details remain undisclosed, speculation arises that the project might be related to the dance practice videos J-Hope shared on YouTube in 2015.

The last solo content released by J-Hope before entering military service was the documentary "J-Hope in the Box," available on Disney+ in February of the preceding year. The documentary, spanning an hour, chronicles the creation of his solo album "Jack in the Box" and his debut performance at "Lollapalooza."

J-Hope commenced his military service in April of the previous year and is slated to make his return to fans on October 17 this year.
