On Thursday, J-Hope, a member of the globally acclaimed group BTS, released the main trailer for his upcoming documentary series titled "Hope on the Street."
The six-episode series follows J-Hope as he visits various locations including Osaka, Paris, New York, and his hometown of Gwangju in Korea, aiming to engage and dance alongside street dancers.
In the trailer, J-Hope expressed his motivation, stating, "It all started with dancing. I am curious to look back at what genres of dance I used to work with and also to look back on my roots. I want to find an answer to what the future I dream of is."

Throughout the series, J-Hope interacts with street dancers representing diverse dance styles such as popping, house, hip-hop, and locking, seeking to communicate through dance and glean insights from their experiences.
Reflecting on his experiences, J-Hope remarked, "It makes my heart beat. It all feels really new. This is not just dance but it's life for some people. I'm in the process of learning."
The documentary series was conceived by J-Hope prior to commencing his mandatory military service in April of the previous year.

The first episode of "Hope on the Street" is scheduled for release on March 28, available on the local streaming platform Tving and Prime Video for international audiences.
In addition to the documentary, J-Hope is set to unveil a special album titled "Hope on the Street Vol. 1" on March 29.
