The 10-track studio album will be led by the title track, "Untouchable," produced by renowned K-pop lyricists and producers Lee Seuran, Jam Factory, and Maria Marcus. Notably, this marks Itzy's first album to feature solo songs from each of its five members – Ye-ji, Lia, Ryu-jin, Chae-ryeong, and Yu-na. The members actively participated in writing the lyrics and composing their respective solo tracks.

Itzy's promotional activities for the second LP are set to begin on December 11 with the release of teaser images and clips. Additionally, the group announced plans for its second world tour, commencing in Seoul on February 24-25, 2023. Itzy's first world tour, titled "Checkmate," took place in 2022 and spanned eight U.S. cities and seven Asian countries, with all shows sold out.

The group has been gaining international recognition, as evidenced by their recent inclusion in Billboard's Year-End Chart for top current album sales, thanks to their sixth EP, "Cheshire," and seventh EP, "Kill My Doubt." Itzy achieved a significant milestone by earning their first-ever gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for their hit single "Wannabe" last month. RIAA's gold certification is awarded to albums that surpass 500,000 units in sales in the U.S.
