A collaborative duet between BTS member V and U.S. singer UMI, titled "wherever u r," has swiftly ascended to the top position on the iTunes Top Songs charts in 89 countries worldwide. The achievement was confirmed by BigHit Music, V's agency, on Sunday, just one day after the song's official release.

The track, written by UMI and featuring V's vocals, secured the coveted No. 1 spot in key regions such as the United States, Britain, Canada, Germany, and numerous others. The widespread success of "wherever u r" was evident across the global iTunes charts, reflecting its broad international appeal.

Released on the same day as V's birthday, the collaboration garnered immense attention and support from fans across the globe. Notably, V is presently fulfilling his mandatory military service after enlisting in the Army on December 11. This aligns with the standard requirement in Korea, where all able-bodied men are obligated to serve in the military for a minimum duration of 18 months.
