In a noteworthy announcement, SM Entertainment has shared that Super Junior, the iconic K-pop group, will celebrate their 18th debut anniversary with a fan meeting event scheduled to take place in Seoul on October 4. This occasion is significant as it marks the first time in over 1 1/2 years that all nine members will gather in person to connect with their fans, particularly in Japan.
Since their debut in 2005, Super Junior has remained a steadfast presence in the K-pop industry. Recently, most of the members, excluding Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun, renewed their contracts with the label in July. Eunhyuk and Donghae took a stride towards entrepreneurship by establishing their own company, while Kyuhyun signed with Antenna.
Despite pursuing individual careers, all members remain committed to the group, showcasing their unity. Notably, Eunhyuk and Donghae recently visited Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, as a unit called D&E, and Yesung is gearing up to release his fifth solo EP titled "Fading Sense" next week. In a testament to their global presence, the band recently returned from Jakarta, Indonesia, after delivering a stellar performance at the label’s all-star concert.
