K-pop girl group Weeekly is all set to make a highly anticipated comeback with its fifth EP on November 1, marking a return after a year and seven months since their first single, "Play Game: Awake," in March 2022.
IST Entertainment, the agency representing Weeekly, made the official announcement on Monday, confirming the EP's release date and exciting fans with teaser content, including a spoiler video, starting in mid-October.
The upcoming album is expected to feature a broader range of music and an upgraded performance, showcasing the growth and development the girl group has undergone during its hiatus.
Weeekly recently delighted their fans, known as Daileee, with a digital single titled "Good Day (Special Daileee)," released on September 12.
Since their debut in 2020 under IST Entertainment, Weeekly has gained immense popularity with tracks like "Tag Me (@Me)" (2020), "Zig Zag" (2020), and "After School" (2021).
During their hiatus, four of Weeekly's six members—Soojin, Soeun, Zoa, and Jihan—participated in Mnet's girl group survival program "Queendom Puzzle," which aired from April. While they didn't make it to the final seven contestants, Jihan secured a notable position, ranking at No. 10 in the final episode.
