ITZY, the South Korean girl group, is set to launch their upcoming full-length album, "BORN TO BE," on January 8, 2024, featuring the title track "UNTOUCHABLE." Notably, the group, originally comprising five members, will perform as a quartet for this album, with member Lia currently on leave due to health issues.
In an official press release, JYP Entertainment, ITZY's agency, described the album's concept as a fusion of "wild, bold, and understated charm." The group aims to showcase powerful charisma, embodying both outer and inner strength as female warriors.

The album consists of ten tracks, including the title track "UNTOUCHABLE," and other songs like "BORN TO BE," "Mr. Vampire," "Dynamite," "Crown On My Head," "Blossom," "Run Away," "Mine," "Yet, but," and "Escalator."
A notable aspect of the album is the exploration of solo performances by ITZY members, with each contributing to the composition of their respective tracks. Yeji will present "Crown On My Head," Ryujin with "Run Away," Chaeryeong with "Mine," and Yuna with "Yet, but." Lia's solo track "Blossom" will also be part of the album, even though she won't participate in promotional activities.
Beyond the album release, ITZY has scheduled concerts at Jamsil Arena, Songpa District, Seoul, on February 24 and 25, 2024, marking the beginning of their second world tour, "ITZY THE 2ND WORLD TOUR 'BORN TO BE.'"
ITZY rose to prominence in 2019 with their debut single "Dalla Dalla" and continued their success with hits like "Icy" (2019) and "Not Shy" (2020).
Lia, the group's vocalist, temporarily suspended all activities in September due to mental health issues since September 2023.
