In the list of nominees unveiled on Thursday in the United States for the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, three members of BTS have been recognized as solo artists.

Jungkook and Jimin have received nominations in the category for the top global K-Pop song award, with their solo singles "Seven" and "Like Crazy," respectively. Notably, both of these songs have achieved the No. 1 position on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

Suga secured a nomination for the top K-Pop touring artist, while Jimin earned three additional nominations: top selling song with "Like Crazy," top K-pop album with his EP "Face," and top global K-pop artist. It's worth noting that Jimin's nomination for the top selling song award marks a historic moment, as he is the first K-pop solo artist to be a candidate in this category. In the previous two years, BTS, as a group, had received this award for "Butter" in 2021 and "Dynamite" in 2022.

The upcoming Billboard Music Awards ceremony for 2023 is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas on November 19.
