Singer-songwriter and actor IU is partnering with Tweety Bird, the iconic yellow canary from the animated cartoon "Looney Tunes," produced by Warner Bros, to promote her upcoming album, as confirmed by Edam Entertainment on Wednesday.

The collaboration involves the release of a special version of IU's upcoming album featuring Tweety Bird on its cover, along with various merchandise. IU has a history with the character, having used Tweety Bird as the profile picture for her Instagram account for over five years.
In 2021, a fan's tweet comparing IU to Tweety Bird was retweeted by the official "Looney Tunes" account on X (formerly Twitter). Edam Entertainment expressed anticipation for the synergy between IU, known for her positive influence and global fanbase, and Tweety Bird, a character engrained in childhood memories worldwide.
On Tuesday, IU changed her Instagram profile picture for the first time in five years to a new version of Tweety Bird. IU's sixth EP, titled "The Winning," featuring the two title tracks "Shopper" and "Spore," is scheduled for release on Feb. 20.
