Household goods, including ready-made foods, school supplies, and sanitary pads, were donated by the fan club to Hope Joyagdol. The organization will distribute these items to malnourished children at a local children's center in Gyeonggi.
The contribution is part of the organization's "Give Love" campaign, encouraging fans to commemorate special occasions with their favorite celebrities through donations and the spread of positivity.
In a press release, NCTzen expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to a better tomorrow under Mark's name, particularly during the winter break when malnourished children are at a heightened risk of missing meals. The fan club extended thanks to Hope Joyagdol for facilitating the donation under their name.
Mark, a member of the boy band NCT under SM Entertainment, debuted in 2016. He is currently part of three subunits within the group — NCT U, NCT 127, and NCT Dream. NCT Dream received accolades, including Digital Album of the Year, Artist of the Year in the physical album category, and the World K-pop Star award at the Circle Chart Music Awards 2023 on Jan. 10.
