K-pop boy band GHOST9 has made a comeback after an 18-month hiatus, releasing their latest single, "ARCADE: O." The group, comprised of members Junhyeong, Shin, Kangsung, Junseong, Prince, Woojin, and Jinwoo, marked the occasion with a press event at Ilchi Art Hall in Gangnam District, Seoul.
During the press event, GHOST9 introduced their new album and expressed their feelings about their return following the extended break. Junhyung, the group's frontman, conveyed his fresh determination to showcase their growth and cooler sides through this album.
During their hiatus, the group actively participated in JTBC's reality competition show "Peak Time." Shin, one of the members, noted that the experience on "Peak Time" had a lasting impact on him. He explained that witnessing fellow competitors from the program facing similar circumstances provided a source of strength and determination.
GHOST9's latest release, "ARCADE: O," continues their "ARCADE: VOW" series, following their previous work "Arcade: V." The album's centerpiece is the opening track, "RUCKUS," known for its potential to make an impact in the K-pop landscape, along with its eye-catching "handcuff dance."

Comparing "RUCKUS" with their previous album's title track, Junhyung highlighted the distinct appeal of the new song. He explained that "RUCKUS" explores a new genre and choreography style, demonstrating the group's growth and ability to master diverse concepts.
The youngest member of the group, Jinwoo, recently celebrated his 20th birthday during the hiatus. He shared his sentiments about entering his 20s and expressed his readiness to continue giving his best.
In a lighter note, Jinwoo mentioned his physical growth during the hiatus, stating that he had grown 5 centimeters, reaching a height of 182 centimeters.
GHOST9 is also preparing for their Japanese concert scheduled for November 25 and 26, marking their debut in the Japanese music scene. Member Junseong expressed their eagerness to create an enjoyable experience for their fans during the upcoming concert in Japan, following a fan meet-and-greet event that made them feel cherished.
