Kim Chae-won, a member of the K-pop girl group Le Sserafim, is set to resume her activities starting November 1 following a temporary hiatus due to health issues.
Le Sserafim's agency, Source Music, confirmed the medical clearance for Kim's return to her schedule. The pause in her activities was prompted by a diagnosis of influenza A, which she and fellow Le Sserafim members Huh Yun-jin and Kazuha received on October 6.
On October 16, the agency announced the temporary suspension of Kim's activities. They explained that Kim had sought additional medical attention on October 13 due to persistent dizziness after her influenza A treatment, and medical experts advised her to take time for rest and recovery.

As a precaution to ensure the well-being of the infected members, the group canceled their scheduled "2023 LESERAFIM TOUR 'FLAME RISES' IN BANGKOK" performance in Thailand.
Le Sserafim, originally a six-member group that debuted in 2022, later became a quintet after one of its former members faced allegations of school violence. Despite initial challenges, the group has steadily gained popularity and achieved chart-topping success with "Antifragile" in 2022 and "Unforgiven" in 2023.
