N.SSign (n.CH Entertainment)
n.CH Entertainment announced on Monday that K-pop boy group n.SSign will persevere with their promotional activities for their debut album despite one member, Doha, taking a temporary hiatus due to health issues. The agency emphasized their commitment to prioritizing the artist's health and well-being during this period, allowing Doha to focus on medical diagnosis, recovery, and treatment.
The nine-member group made a striking debut with their album "Birth of Cosmos" in August, amassing an impressive 210,260 album preorders. During the first week of its release, the album witnessed a remarkable sale of 207,227 copies, making it the fifth-highest number of debut albums sold by a K-pop boy group within the initial week.
Notably, the album gained significant popularity in Japan, securing the top spot on iTunes' Japan album chart and achieving a notable position at No. 6 on Oricon's Weekly Album chart. The group has been actively promoting the title track, "Wormhole: New Track," from their debut album and plans to continue their promotional efforts with the sidetrack, "Spice," showcasing a medium-tempo pop dance genre.
Looking ahead, n.SSign is set to make their highly anticipated debut in Japan on November 29, furthering their trajectory in the K-pop scene.
