대한민국 역사박물관에서는 팬데믹 특별전을 진행하고 있습니다.
In National Museum of Korean Contemporary History, is holding a special Pandemic exhibition.
제목은 “다시, 연결 : 모두가 안전해질 때까지” 입니다.
The title is “Re-Connect, until everyone is safe”.
팬데믹이란 감염병으로 여러개의 대륙에서 혹은 전 세계에 동시 발병되는 현상입니다.
(Pandemic) is an outbreak of a contagious disease that has spread over a large area, like several continents or the entire world.
이 전시에서는 전염되는 질병들을 전시합니다.
This exhibition displays infectious diseases
천연두나, 콜레라, 스페인 독감 그리고 코로나19
like smallpox, cholera,
인류 역사에 큰 영향을 미친 전염병들이죠.
that have had a significant impact on human history.
또한 질병의 원인이나 사회에 미치는 영향 그리고 치료에 대해 설명도 보여줍니다.
It also describes the illnesses' causes, effects on society, and treatments.
교류가 가져온 번영과 질병부터, 팬데믹시대의 서막과, 최근 돌아온 감염병의 시대를 보여주며 누구도 안전하지 않다고 경고합니다.
It shows how prosperity and disease are brought together through exchanges, the start of the
pandemic, and the return of infectious diseases, which is a warning that no one is safe.
"모두가 안전해질 때까지는 누구도 안전하지 않다."
"No one is safe until everyone is safe."
라는 코로나 대응 구호를 통해 세계시민의 연대와 협력을 독려하고 있습니다.
Through this slogan, we are encouraging the solidarity and cooperation of global citizens.
감염병의 위협에 맞서 함께 공동체를 유지하는 이웃으로 서로를 바라보며 모두가 안전해질 때까지 ‘다시, 연결’되어야만 합니다. 라고 전시는 이야기하고 있습니다
Take care of each other and work together to keep a community safe from diseases Re-Connect, until everyone is safe.
전시는 내년 1월 31일까지 대한민국역사박물관 3층에서 진행됩니다.
The exhibition will be held on the 3rd floor of the Museum of Korean History until January 31 next year.
