NewJeans, via their agency Ador, released teaser photographs for their upcoming single album on Friday.
The band members showcased a hip and sporty aesthetic for the single "How Sweet," each presenting unique styles to highlight their individual charms. The album will be available in two versions, one of which features a collaboration with the American animation "The Powerpuff Girls," marking a continuation of their previous partnership for the second EP "Get Up."
Scheduled for release on May 24, the double single album will contain four tracks, including the titular track and "Bubble Gum," along with instrumental versions of both songs. "Bubble Gum" is set to release in advance on Saturday.
Despite ongoing controversy surrounding Ador's head, Min Hee-jin, and the power struggle with parent company Hybe, NewJeans' agency reaffirmed the group's commitment to promoting the album as planned.
