In the midst of escalating tensions between Ador and Hybe, NewJeans' upcoming releases and debut in Japan remain unaffected, according to a Hybe official.
Scheduled for the end of May, NewJeans' next release, a double single album titled "How Sweet," is set for May 24 in Korea. The music video for one of the tracks, "Bubble Gum," is scheduled for release on Hybe's YouTube channel at midnight on Saturday.
Following this release, NewJeans is slated to make their Japanese debut on June 21 with singles "Supernatural" and "Right Now." The group is also scheduled to hold meet-and-greet events with fans at the Tokyo Dome on June 26 and 27.

The corporate conflict between Ador and Hybe began when Hybe initiated an audit into Ador's CEO, Min Hee-jin, and executives. Allegations were made that Min and other executives were planning to attract outside investment to push out Hybe and gain control of the subsidiary label. Hybe holds an 80 percent stake in Ador, while Min holds 18 percent.
Hybe released a statement citing evidence of Min's alleged plans and her consultation with a shaman on the firm's management. In response, Min denied the allegations and accused Hybe of mismanagement during a press conference.
Later, Hybe filed a complaint with the Yongsan Police Station against Min and Ador’s vice president for breach of trust, alleging Min's attempt to take over Ador's management rights in an effort to break away from Hybe.
