Additionally, girl group BLACKPINK and BTS' members Suga and Jungkook have been nominated in one category each: Top K-Pop Touring Artist and Top Global K-Pop Song for "Seven (feat. Latto)."
The Billboard Music Awards, among the three major music awards in the American music industry, alongside the American Music Awards and the Grammy Awards, are set to take place on November 19. This year, the BBMAs introduced four new K-pop categories, significantly expanding their recognition of artists from the K-pop industry.
Notably, only Jimin, NewJeans, and Fifty Fifty received nominations in non-K-pop categories. At the 2022 BBMAs, BTS clinched three awards, including Top Duo/Group, Top Selling Song Sales Artist, and Top Selling Song. The 2023 edition of the BBMAs will be livestreamed on Billboard's official social media channels.
