TVXQ has reaffirmed its enduring partnership with SM Entertainment, extending a journey that began over two decades ago. On April 2, SM Entertainment announced that the group had officially renewed its exclusive contract with the agency, underscoring the longstanding trust between the two sides.

Since their debut in 2003, TVXQ—composed of members U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin—has remained under the management of SM Entertainment, building one of the most iconic legacies in K-pop history. Reflecting on the milestone, U-Know Yunho shared, “It’s deeply meaningful to continue this relationship with SM, the company that has been with us since the beginning of our debut. I’m filled with renewed emotion.”

He added, “We are always grateful for the unwavering love and support from our fans. TVXQ will continue striving to present our best selves across various fields.”

Max Changmin also expressed his thoughts on the renewal: “It’s truly significant to have walked with SM for over 20 years. We look forward to painting an even brighter future with the company that has always been our strongest supporter.”

SM Entertainment emphasized that TVXQ is an irreplaceable part of the company’s history and that both U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin will continue to receive full support in pursuing diverse activities domestically and internationally.

As the group marks its 22nd debut anniversary this year, they remain actively engaged in live performances. TVXQ is set to hold their next Japanese live tour from April 25 to 27. Their record-breaking achievements include the most dome performances by a foreign artist in Japan, with a total of 92 dome shows nationwide, including 33 at the Tokyo Dome alone.

TVXQ’s enduring influence and continued evolution over more than two decades highlight the group’s exceptional legacy in the global music scene, setting a benchmark for long-standing artist-label collaboration.
