Released on November 3 at 1 p.m., "Golden" achieved the milestone of selling over one million copies within three hours and crossed the two million mark within five hours of its release. Notably, this marks the first instance of a K-pop soloist surpassing the two-million-album sales threshold in a single day.
"Golden" is officially Jungkook's debut solo album, described by his agency BigHit Music as a collection encapsulating the "golden moments of Jungkook." Comprising eleven tracks, including notable songs like "Seven," "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)," and the lead track "Standing Next to You," the album has swiftly become a significant phenomenon in the K-pop scene.
