Initially slated for an earlier release, the debut was delayed by two months, attributed to YG's meticulous selection of the main track for the group's inaugural project. In a press release, the label assured fans of their commitment to hastening the final stages of the project, aiming to deliver optimal results for Babymonster's debut.

Babymonster, a seven-member rookie group, features members Ahyeon, Haram, Rora, Pharita, Chiquita, Ruka, and Asa. Hailing from three different Asian countries—South Korea, Thailand, and Japan—the group follows in the footsteps of BLACKPINK, the last girl group introduced by YG Entertainment seven years ago.
