In a resonant and soul-stirring comeback, H1-KEY has reemerged onto the K-pop scene with their second mini album, titled "Seoul Dreaming." Brimming with songs that echo the sentiments of hope and resilience, the group is set to captivate hearts and minds once again.

During a press conference held in Seoul on Wednesday, Seoi of H1-KEY shared insights into the album's essence, stating, "Our second EP is for people who have a dream. We hope to spread hope and comfort through this album." With an unwavering commitment to inspire and uplift, the group's latest endeavor serves as a musical beacon for dreamers and believers.

The album is skillfully anchored by two impactful title tracks: "Seoul (Such a Beautiful City)" and "Time to Shine." Collaborating once again with renowned music producer Hong Ji-sang and Young K from the K-pop boy group DAY6, H1-KEY brings their creative prowess to the forefront.

"Seoul," the album's lead title track, captures the essence of aspiration and perseverance. Sung with conviction, the song's lyrics resonate with not giving up on dreams and persevering in the face of challenges. "Time to Shine" stands as the other title track, a testament to the band's readiness to overcome obstacles in pursuit of their goals.

Riina, a member of H1-KEY, elaborated on the tracks, stating, "In the title track 'Seoul,' we sing about not giving up on a dream and continuing to work hard to accomplish it in the city of opportunities. We sing about being ready to overcome difficulties that we face when heading toward our goal in the other title track 'Time to Shine.'"

For Yel, the youngest member of the group, "Seoul" resonates on a personal level. She reflected, "I’m from Changwon, and when I first heard this song, it reminded me of the first time I came to Seoul to become a K-pop idol. It brought back old memories of myself traveling back and forth on a bus for hours from Seoul to my hometown to achieve my dream. … When I listen to it at night, it brings tears to my eyes. It’s a meaningful song for me."

The collaboration with renowned producer Hong Ji-sang has been an enriching experience for the group. Hwiseo expressed, "Producer Hong catches the strength of each member and accentuates such features in the music through detailed directing. That’s why I think this album shows our individual strengths well."

Following their previous title track "Rose Blossom," which garnered recognition in the competitive K-pop industry, H1-KEY remains steadfast in their mission to uplift and resonate. Seoi affirmed, "Through the success of 'Rose Blossom,' we learned that the public loves genuine words that comfort them in times of difficulties. This made us focus more on the delivery of the song’s message. 'Rose Blossom' definitely helped us to level up."

While hoping for the public's embrace of their new title tracks, Seoi added, "What we really want is to establish our color as artists through this new album." As the fervor around "Seoul Dreaming" builds, H1-KEY stands poised to make their mark not only as musicians but as bearers of hope and a source of strength for their devoted fans.
