Rising K-pop boy band ZeroBaseOne has made history with the release of its debut album, selling a remarkable 1.82 million copies in its first week and becoming the highest-selling debut album by a K-pop act to date.

ZeroBaseOne's achievement also marks them as the first K-pop group to attain million-seller status with their debut album, surpassing the previous record set by Mnet's former project boy band, X1, which sold 524,000 copies of their debut album "Emergency: Quantum Leap" in 2019.

Notably, individual tracks from ZeroBaseOne's debut EP have garnered significant attention as well. All six tracks, including the lead single "In Bloom," have soared to high positions on major Korean music streaming charts such as Melon, Genie, and Bugs.

"In Bloom" has also amassed over 3.55 million total streams on Spotify, an impressive feat for a rookie boy band.

ZeroBaseOne, also stylized as ZB1, is a project group formed through the popular cable network Mnet's audition program, "Boys Planet." The band consists of nine talented members, namely Zhang Hao, Sung Han-bin, Seok Matthew, Ricky, Park Gun-wook, Kim Tae-rae, Kim Gyu-vin, Kim Ji-woong, and Han Yu-jin.

Each member of ZeroBaseOne previously competed under different K-pop agencies before their participation in the show. As a project group, ZeroBaseOne will be managed by WakeOne until January 2026, after which the members will return to their respective management companies.

The extraordinary success of ZeroBaseOne's debut album sales underscores the immense popularity and impact of K-pop in the global music industry. As the band continues to captivate audiences with their talent and musicality, fans eagerly anticipate their future endeavors and the contributions they will make to the vibrant K-pop landscape.
