A special Scandinavian atmosphere swept through the Solling region last week as the Wildnisfarm Silberborn hosted "Nordic Serenity," an extraordinary nature experience that drew numerous visitors. Under the theme "A Piece of Scandinavia in the Heart of Solling," the Wildguide team, in collaboration with Niklas Schulz Photography, invited guests to a free photo shoot with real reindeer, accompanied by warm lighting, campfires, and an authentic Nordic atmosphere.

The concept for Nordic Serenity was born on the island of Fehmarn, where photographer Niklas Schulz-Lehne engaged in deep reflection about his work and connection to nature. "I wanted to do something different from others – not a classic photo shoot, but an experience you can truly feel. Peace, honesty, and real life outdoors – that's what I want to showcase," the photographer explained. His vision proved successful, attracting approximately 80 participants, including families and couples, who came to Silberborn to be photographed with the gentle reindeer.

Many visitors lingered by the campfire after their photo sessions, grilling bread on sticks and roasting marshmallows while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. "These were beautiful moments shared together by the fire," said Axel Winter with satisfaction. For Schulz-Lehne, the most memorable moment came at the end of the day: "The most beautiful moment for me was when everything became quiet in the evening and I stood alone with the three reindeer in the twilight. It was peaceful, and I felt nothing but gratitude – toward Axel Winter and his animals."

Behind this unique setting stands Axel Winter, founder of Wildnisfarm and operator of the Wildguide company. The local trekking guide and adventure leader discovered his passion for reindeer during his time in Sweden and Norway, bringing the Nordic lifestyle back to the Solling region. At his farm in Silberborn, he offers husky hikes and winter sleigh rides, with reindeer tours serving as a particular highlight of his offerings.

Nordic Serenity represented a heartfelt project for the organizers – a day that demonstrated the beauty found in closeness to nature. The event was completely free for all participants, with optional commemorative photos available for purchase at fair prices. Among the quiet forests of the Solling, this experience impressively combined nature, animal encounters, and photographic artistry with campfires, real reindeer, and a touch of Scandinavian magic.
