Both artists shared a preview of the unreleased track on their respective Instagram accounts, tagging each other in the posts. The collaboration follows their meeting at the Coachella music festival in the previous year, where Blackpink headlined.
While the Instagram teasers showcase snippets of the collaboration, no specific details have been disclosed regarding the nature of the upcoming track. Jennie recently confirmed her preparation for a solo album during a variety show aired last week. Notably, the music video for her 2018 solo single "Solo," featuring the title track of the same name, achieved the milestone of 1 billion YouTube views last month. With this accomplishment, Jennie becomes the second solo Korean artist, following Psy, to reach this impressive viewership figure.
