Yang Hyun-suk shared the exciting news through a video posted on YG Entertainment's official blog, expressing his commitment to the project.
"The BLACKPINK members and their producers are working hard on the album," Yang stated in the announcement video. He further emphasized the company's dedication to meeting the timeline, adding, "We will do our best to release the album in November." The statement suggests that production is well underway, with the team putting significant effort into creating new content for their devoted fanbase.
Currently, BLACKPINK is in the midst of their ambitious world tour titled "Deadline," which kicked off in Goyang, a city located just northwest of Seoul, last month. "The TREASURE members, who were in their mid-teens to early twenties when they debuted, are now all adults in their early to mid-twenties," he explained. "If the last five years were their first chapter, this album will be the start of their second." For Babymonster's October release, Yang provided specific details about the EP's composition. The upcoming album will feature four brand new songs, with the main track titled "We Go Up." However, the recently unveiled song "Hot Sauce" will not be included in this particular release. Yang also promised high-quality visual content to accompany the music, stating that YG will release "a conceptual music video and a high-quality dance performance video" alongside the EP.

He revealed that the company has already made significant progress on Babymonster's material for the following year, stating, "We have already completed about 80-90 percent of the recording for Babymonster's new songs for next year."
